PHOTOGRAMMETRY 

Photogrammetry is the simplest method of 3D scanning. This method involves capturing 2D images of the target object from different angles and superimposing them to get a single 3-dimensional image. This method requires just a camera to get the images and the 2d images are stitched into a 3D model using relevant software. Smartphones can also be used to capture the images. The software will match all overlapping points of the 2D images and create a 3D model.

  • Scan to BIM refers to the process of the 3D laser scanning of a physical space or site. The scan is used to create an accurate digital representation of the site, which can be used for planning, designing, assessment or evaluation. We provide scan-to-BIM modelling services to a number of sectors, including architectsretailers, surveyors and main contractors. In addition to Scan-to-BIM models for architectural and structural building elements for many of these customers, we also provide MEP scan to BIM services to consulting engineers, MEP designers and MEP contractors. We are also able to use the raw survey data and images from laser survey tools with a range of specialist software tools to create accurate architectural and MEP models that reflect the current state of the building. Scan to BIM tools provide a marked improvement in an existing-condition survey compared to surveys using traditional measures.

  • Our Point Cloud to BIM modelling service is used to create accurate models for as-built purposes as well as for retrofit, refurbishment and renovation projects.
